The number of resources that we need to access online is increasing day by day. Honestly saying I have more than five accounts for my daily work. How many accounts do you have? Login to websites is not an easy job. I don’t like to enter my credentials each time when I have to access a website. It is quite boring and time-consuming job. It makes me frustrated many times. It happens not only with me, but we all are facing the same problem. ‘

Social login: Well, we all have accounts on different social media platforms. Don’t we? Why can’t we use a social media platform to login to a website? Social login is one such approach that allows users to login to website using their social media accounts(like Facebook, linkedIn, Twitter etc.) Users just need to click on the social media platform on which they have accounts and they get the permission to access the services. They don’t need to create new accounts and credentials. Thus, the solution saves them from a new set of credentials to remember. Social login also saves users time and improves their efficiency.
Single Sign-On: Now, consider a situation where you have multiple websites to access of the same business. Login to multiple websites (belong to the same domain) is not easy. You need to create separate accounts for each of them and then login to each separately. A huge wastage of time, isn’t?
Single sign-on solution(SSO) is a method that saves users here. It allows users to create only one set of credentials to enjoy access of all the resources of a company. Thus, it saves a lot of users time.
Biometric login: It is also called passwordless login because the process required no passwords. Users can enjoy resources that belong to them by providing their (biometrics) fingerprints, thumb impression, etc. That means without creating credentials users can access resources in a secure manner.
